MISSION STATEMENT

• Evangelize and propagate the faith through the devotion to Our Lady Of Lourdes and                                Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary which advocate love, peace and family values by                         praying the Holy Rosary, Novenas, celebrate Holy Mass and other religious services.
• Promote the moral and spiritual devotion by conducting retreats, recollection and                           spiritual counseling, healing prayers as well as performing charitable activities.
• Perpetuate and support charitable activities and the needs of the Mt. Carmel complex                       located at Liloan, Southern Leyte, Philippines.

Brothers and sisters in Christ. accept our heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, generosity, endless and selfless support of being a part of this Ministry, to serve God and humanity. You have contributed much of your time, money, effort and untiring support to this mission, a mission entrusted to all of us by the Lord and the Blessed Mother. In faith, by the Divine Prophecies and Revelations given to Carmelita since 1993. we are all chosen and called for a special mission to be God's instruments to fulfill His plans of salvation sharing our love, and humble services. Our mission is so huge and special!  We don't have to be anxious, of what is to be done next, for Divine instructions and details are unfolding from time to time, in His own time and according to His will. God has already blessed us a lot for what we have done.

Here are some of our accomplishments and activities:
 

• Monthly first Saturday devotion in Chatsworth, in honor of our "Lady of Lourdes" and ""Lord of Pardon". We pray scriptural Rosary, Novena, Holy Mass, fellowship with celebration of birthdays and anniversaries of members, pray over the sick at the grotto and etc. In May, August, October, and December, the special holidays of the Blessed Mother, We have a procession around the house with flower offering and coronation of the Blessed Virgin at the Grotto. . .. • Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Chatsworth. ... Accomplished February I l, l994
• Annual celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes every February, held in different churches in the valley: Holy Rosary, Holy Mass, procession, flower offering and coronation of the Blessed Mother of Lourdes, offering of 18 candle sponsors representing the 18 apparition in Lourdes . ... Ongoing since February I l, 2006.
• Monthly feeding of the homeless in downtown Los Angeles. Clothing and heavy duty blankets are supplied. ... Ongoing since 1997.
• Annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday dinner for the homeless and poor in San Fernando Valley, in collaboration with the Valley Rescue Mission. . . . Ongoing since I997.
• Granted a 4-year scholarship program to deserving poor High School students in the Philippines through the coordination of the SHJM Foundation . ... accomplished 2000.
• Granted scholarship program to seminarians in the Philippines through the coordination of the SHJM Foundation . .. Ongoing since I996.
• Raises funds to help support our feeding program in LA, grants for scholarship program in the Philippines. support the construction projects of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Foundation in the Philippines; by selling religious items, Christmas caroling, musical concerts. dinner dance and donations from generous people in the United States. . ,. Ongoing since 1995.
• Acquisition of Land at Mt. Carmel. Location was chosen by the Lord and the Blessed Mother. This is a legally donated land by the owner. . .. accomplished 2009
• Monthly, first Saturday Mass and Novena of the "Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary" at the Chapel in Mt. Carmel. ... Ongoing since 1996.
• Celebrates annual feast celebration of the "Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary" with a Holy Mass, living Rosary, procession around town. ... Ongoing since 1997.
• Sponsors holy retreats, children's catechism and bible studies, youth (20) choir. ... Ongoing since I996.
• Fundraising through X-mas caroling and religious gift shop. . .. Ongoing since 1998. .
• Coordinated with US, Our Lady of Lourdes Ministry, a 4-year scholarship program to deserving poor High School students. ".. accomplished 2002.
• Coordinates with US, Our Lady of Lourdes Ministry, a scholarship program to two seminarians in the Philippines . .. . Ongoing since 1996.
• Sponsors free annual medical, surgical, dental, optical mission by the volunteer medical team of Sr. Eva Maamo, SPC, MD. .. . Ongoing since 1996.
• At Mount Carmel the following constructions are done with building permits.

• A 3O-ft Holy cross with railings and neon lights. ... Accomplished 1995.
• A 600 steps with railings from the bottom of the mountain to the Holy cross, at the peak of the mountain. ... Accomplished 1995.
• Electrical wirings (approx. 1,600 ft) from the bottom of the mountain to the chapel, then to the Holy Cross. It is embedded on the ground with a cement for security. ... Accomplished 1996.
• Restroom for public use and septic tank. . .. Accomplished 2005
• Holy Sepulcher at the side of the chapel. ...Accomplished.
• Retreat House, at the back of the chapel, approx.1500 sq. ft. ... Accomplished.
