MAGNIFICAT
THE SONG OF MARY
WHEN ELIZABETH PRAISES MARY FOR HER FAITH,
MARY SINGS THE MAGNIFICAT IN RESPONSE ...
MY SOUL DOTH MAGNIFY THE LORD.
AND MY SPIRIT HATH REJOICE IN GOD MY SAVIOUR.
BECAUSE HE HATH REGARDED
THE HUMILITY OF HIS HANDMAID.
FOR BEHOLD FROM HENCEFORTH
ALL GENERATION SHALL CALL ME BLESSED.
BECAUSE HE THAT IS MIGHTY
HATH DONE GREAT THINGS TO ME
AND HOLY IS HIS NAME.
IHE HATH SHOWED MIGHT IN HIS ARMS;
HE HATH SCATTERED THE PROUD
IN THE CONCEIT OF THEIR HEART.
HE HATH PUT DOWN THE HUNGRY FROM THEIR SEAT ;
AND HATH EXALTED THE HUMBLE.
HE HATH FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS;
AND THE RICH HE HATH SENT EMPTY AWAY.
HE HATH RECEIVED ISRAEL HIS SERVANT,
BEING MINDFUL OF HIS MERCY.
AS HE SPOKE TO OUR FATHERS, TO ABRAHAM
AND TO HIS SEED FOREVER.

Lord God,
you have called us in Jesus Christ,
your well-beloved Son,
to live in your presence in Love.
Look upon us. We are the people you have made your own.
Accept the oblation we present to you today.
Through the Heart of your Son,
open on the cross,
enable us to live for you,,
as we share in his death and resurrection
and become united with his redeeming oblation.
Grant that we may truly belong to you.
Form our hearts in the image of Jesus.
Make us ready to receive and announce your reign
in a spirit of adoration and service.
Father, help us to see clearly what you want
and guide us along the way of your will,
attentive to your Spirit
and in communion with your Church.
We pray through the intercession of the Virgin Mary
that you keep us united in the Heart of your Son,
so that we may be your servants
in your reign of love and peace.
Amen.

GOD IS MY FATHER
“Through Him, with Him and in Him”
My Father in Heaven, how sweet it is to know that you are my
Father and that I am your child.
I believe that You are a Father to me at every moment of my life.
I believe that You love me with an infinite love!
I believe that, in Your infinite Wisdom, You know better than I
what is good for me.
I believe that, in Your infinite power, You can bring good even
out of evil.
I believe that, in Your infinite goodness, You make everything
to the advantage of those who love You.
I believe, but increase in me faith, hope and love!
Teach me always to see Your love as my guide in every event
of my life.
Father You know everything, You see everything, You know me
better than I know myself; You can do everything,
and You love me!
My father, since it is Your wish that we should always turn to You,
I come with confidence to ask You, together with Jesus
