NEW PROJECT- Below are drwaings and pictures of the Liloan beach project to house vistors to

Mt. Carmel in Liloan, So. Leyte Philippines

Below is a rendering of Mt. Carmel, located at Liloan, Southern Leyte, Philippines. It is a spiritual complex constructed to honor and praise Our Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, it is a place designed to spread His Word and for people to pray for the conversion of sinners and forgiveness of sins, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

PROPOSED PROJECTS TO DO-

Mt. Carmel -

Lady of Lourdes Grotto with running water next to the resurrection of Jesus statues.
Sanctifying grace fountain.
Approx. 100 chairs for the retreat house.
Benches and tables around the retreat house, chapel and Holy Cross.
Inscribe all names of Benefactors on the front of the retreat house.
Add prayer "The Holy Cross Prayer" to base of cross
install tiles to base of Holy Cross

THINGS DONE AT MT. CARMEL

I. CHAPEL: SACRED HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARY CHAPEL

Beautiful tapestry behind the Holy Gross Altar.
Decorative art paintings of clouds, (5) 4-ft. angels, and 4-ft JHS at the altar ceiling.
Gold molding around (4) stained glass windows.
(2) decorative candelabra on each side of the center stained glass at the altar.
(2) decorative corbels in the chapel entrance door with (2) big sea shells for holy water
(14) stations of the cross on the walls.
(6) wall lights on each side of the chapel.
Repainting inside and outside of chapel.
Decorative 10" wall paper borders around the walls of the chapel.

II. TOMB OF JESUS:

Finishing of inside and outside walls of the cave (tomb) Epoxy floor finish and paint inside.
Statue of Jesus on a glass niche with a red velvet upholstery.
Statue of the Blessed Mother of Sorrows on the wall above the body od Jesus.
(3) flood lights on the ceiling illuminating the face of Jesus and the Mother of Sorrows.
(2) decorative candelabra w/4 flickering lights on each side of the Blessed Mother statue.
On the opposite wall is an 8-ft CROSS made of white glass blocks.
(6) silver & gold iron grill in front of the niche.

III. 14 OUTDOOR STATIONS OF THE CROSS:

9-ft. stations of the cross from the bottom to the top of Mt. Carmel
A cemented 2-ft base with decorative pebbles, a 6- inch diameter, 6-ft pole filed with rebars and cement. A 1-ft wood cross on top.

IV. RETREAT HOUSE :

Finished roofing and epoxy flooring.
Ad one room upstairs.
Finish iron grills in the first fioor.
Repainted all iron grills in the 1st & 2nd floors.
(13) 6' X 13', shades around 2nd floor with pulleys (removable).

V. RESURRECTION OF JESUS:

(3) 7- ft. statues on rocks found at the back of the retreat house. (Jesus, Mother Mary & Mary Magdalene). Shoring of fallen rocks & planted palm trees.

VI. LIGHTS AROUND THE HOLY CROSS:

70-FT. green led light around the 30-ft holy cross found on the top of Mt Carmel

VI. DEEP WELL WATER SYSTEM:

VI. 80 feet from the water table to the back of the retreat house. A water tank and electric pump are built to supply water for the retreat house, chapel, toilet and etc .

VII. MISCELLANEOUS:

Repaired all 200 steps with railings from the chapel to the Holy Cross.
Repainted all outside railings from the bottom of the Mt. Carmel to the Holy Cross, approximately 400 steps.
Stone pavers around the chapel and retreat house.
7- ft Holy Cross on top of the chapel.
Replaced gutters around the chapel.
Cleared big trees found around the chapel and retreat house.

Our heart felt gratitude to Cesar and Marilou Bernardino for sharing their excellent talents, time money and untiring efforts to continue the constructions Mt. Carmel, Liloan, Southern Leyte Philippines. Thanks also for your donations of beautiful Resurrection Statues, Station of the Cross, Decors and Ornaments that enhanced the beauty of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Chapel and the Tomb of Jesus.

We want also to express our thanks to all of you, our beloved members and devotees who prayed with us and in one way or another graciously helped financially to complete all the jobs mentioned above. You made it all possible! The names of the donors of the Stations of the Cross are inscribed permanently at the bottom of each station, that will remain forever.

Thank you all with love, for your generosity and kindness to help fulfill the plans, the Lord and the Blessed Mother has entrusted to all of us, It is not only the above jobs, but in all activities of this community prayer group since the beginning. I want you all to know from my heart that you make the difference. God repays you, in so many different ways for He is good, loving, faithful, generous, merciful, compassionate & forgiving.
